Field education is The signature pedagogy of social work education

The North American Network of Field Educators and Directors (NANFED) was founded in 1987 to promote the interests of field education within the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and its Annual Program Meeting (APM).  Hundreds of field educators continue to participate in the APM’s Field Education Track, while NANFED provides resources, networking and mentorship for field educators across the US and Canada.
